“We learn awareness and norms of good human being via education, if purpose of education was to provide jobs only, we could be at worst end, you learn about what you don’t know and about what you know, you excel in it by various learning methods, are degrees mandatory? perhaps modern HR is diversifying its strategy”.
If you own or work for organization, you should be concerned about what mechanism your HR department is following, does it focus on hiring most qualified professionals or looking for experts or skilled individuals who can bring diversity regardless they have no extra ordinary qualifications? Managing both classes of professionals seem handy for first world organizations.
Modern HR Strategies and Tactics have been in transformation process towards adopting more realization in inspiring individuals skills, ghost research and efforts, including Google, Microsoft, etc.Tests and interviews are designed to find compatibility between an individual and organization. For instance, if you don’t have specific degree but you claim that you are passionate and may have relevant work experience or you are good at it, you may be invited in an interview to determine your claim.
Smart leaders hire smartly, Jack Ma, Founder and CEO, Ali Baba Group, one of the emerging top selling company, once quoted about its HR Strategy, “Don’t hire the most qualified, hire the craziest ones”.
In addition, Google Inc has many dropouts in its organization, promoting and accepting their skills without qualifications. Unilever started its trainee and young leadership program by quoting in job requirements that individual must be passionate about what they are applying, qualification criteria is general and doesn’t hold specific conditions of qualifications. Similarly, there are various examples where we can observe such transformation where passionate people have produced good results without any specialized degrees.
Well, hiring highly qualified may be an asset to a company with more advanced knowledge of management and specific field, he is also supposed to add up new ideas but he can do only do it once he understands the mechanisms, processes or systems which will take time but at the same he will be a cost to a company in good numbers.
Recruiting most skilled individuals leads organization to find right man for a right job, he doesn’t take much time to understand but he likes to renovate and innovate new development in ongoing projects, if he is also trained with management and innovation skills, he may be more quick to learn, progress and benefit organization in more sophisticated way. The idea suit may suit well with specific technical jobs (IT, Engineering, Training ,etc).
Since, there is no parallel of passion whether one has earned it either searching on google or going to any institution, by the end of the day, it’s all about how well you come up with results for organization. Further, it’s a good idea to accept that excellence is not bounded with highly qualified people but it can also be explored with most skilled people. It will be more beneficial for a company or organization to develop its strategy to hire individuals who may not be highly qualified but they are very passionate and know much about what they do for their respective fields.
So when you sit with your HR Professionals, do ask them what changes they have been doing or considering for recruitment and urge them to provide opportunities for those who are passionate and self-learned than hiring only highly qualified or foreign university graduates.

All praises are for Allah only,
We have to confess that we all are so much busy in finding the best careers, jobs, opportunities and best place for our homes, during pursuing these goals we somehow hear news like, that ABC person has passed away due to accident, chronic disease or health disorders, where some may die because of no reason. In fact, we all die just not due to any disease or like that it is just a way but due to one reason we all get died i.e. Our time gets over whether in teenage, old days or even the time a small baby births.
Unfortunately, the human is so much busy in earning big name/fame, wild money/bank balance & finding lacking of others, over caring in any matter leads to some extent of deterioration. But do we have time for renovating our lives after deaths??? Do we have time for decorating our homes of eternity??? Do we really care about it??? Some people may find this post as routine but it is a fact that very few of us are careful in chasing the real goal of life. Who knows tomorrow is your or my day to leave this world but what we have it for?? any preparation for it? What we can show to our LORD?. We have time for plenty of books of our interest but we don’t have even 5 min for Quran & Hadiths to begin knowing what Allah has bestowed us. Are we not really ignoring Allah? Are we not putting ourselves in Hell by our actions.
If your are alive and breathing, give thanks to Allah Almighty that He gave you more breathes but it was time of someone else to depart from this world, what if someday it comes for our turn, what we have it? We are scared of death not because it is painful but more likely we have nothing to show up before Allah.
Life is certainly too short, we must not forget that even you attend disco clubs, prom nights in colleges, music arena or cinemas, dancing on floors of hotels, living shameless life, you won’t find the peace of mind in these lives, Wallahe the real satisfaction and peace of mind is in the Zikar & obeying what Allah has ordered us to do.
Turn to ALLAh before we are Returned to ALLAh, Choice is ours but time is short, a lil contribution can serve a lot in world here-after, may Allah bestow us Hidayat, Taqwa, emaan, best spouse & good life. Ameen
